Our Approach

Our first step on appointment as your search partner will be to hold a further briefing session with the LSR leadership team. We can provide you with additional insights into the types of candidates to be sought for each role, including a selection of profiles. Once we have agreed the brief and search strategy, we find candidates through:

Extensive resourcing

Working with our colleagues across the global business whom we know can offer credible suggestions from their networks.

Utilising existing networks

We can quickly identify and contact credible candidates. We also source talent from other sectors where skills are particularly transferable (e.g., corporate functions.)

Personal contact

Video calls and face to face meetings offer a more personalised approach and results in stronger shortlists and better engagement.

Connecting

Attendance at all major industry conferences and social media advertising to increase connectivity.

Our Assessment Process

1
Stage 1. Screening Interview

The strongest candidates will be interviewed against the key metrics of each brief. Due to the pandemic, we moved from in person interviews to on-line video interviews. This has saved huge amounts of time and money.

2
Stage 2. Shortlisting & Presentation

Candidates are assessed on technical skills, company fit, motivations, aspirations, achievements and remuneration levels.
We then present an executive summary and assessment, along with the candidate’s resume for highly suitable candidates as part of our initial shortlist.

We can also put candidates through a psychometric test if preferred, this is done via an external partner with a pass-through cost, we do not seek any payment for this.

3
Stage 3. Decision making. Offer & Referencing

Once you have identified a preferred candidate, we are an honest broker between you and the candidate in the offer negotiations and if appropriate, take up final references on your behalf. We reject any unsuccessful candidates in a highly professional manner, and always protecting our client's reputation.
