Civil Engineer – Contaminated Sites (12 month contract)

Your Responsibilities:

• Coordinating and leading external planning offices and/or construction companies
• Monitoring and ensuring deadlines, costs, and quality of execution for all construction works
• Ensuring that measures aligned with current construction technology standards are implemented, and that structures are built in accordance with contractual agreements (e.g., work contracts, general contractor contracts)
• Working alongside the overall project management, the safety officer, and the on-site construction management team to ensure the implementation and execution of the construction site safety concept
• Supporting the preparation of tender documents, work and/or general contractor contracts, and evaluating offers in cooperation with procurement, legal, project management, and external planning offices
• Documenting project progress

Experience Required:

• Several years of professional experience as a certified civil engineer, preferably in the field of specialist foundation engineering and/or contaminated site remediation
• Knowledge of project management
• Industrial experience in specialist foundation and infrastructure construction is an advantage
• German language proficiency at C1 level, English at B2 level
